Through the story of an object lost and found, I tell how the fact of living and switching between three languages several times a day made me feel disconnected, thus, misplaced in my daily life.
This movie represents my linguistic struggles through a cinematographic approach. The story of the movie is told in four episodes. Each part has an off voice and two subtitles, one for each of the other languages that I speak.
The confrontation of the audience with three translations, that I consciously altered in subtle ways, conjures a feeling of confusion.
Just like the paradox of broadening your horizon by learning a new language but finding yourself confused it's mixture
